It's only rock and roll? Only rock and roll is it! That's the motto of Paul Schiff, who made a name for himself in the Austrian music scene as songwriter for Viennese band Midchester. But his musical output is so great that he started his solo project PAULS. In 2007 his band released their debut album "High Level Talks" which combined influences such as the Beatles, Stones, Doves and U2 in an impressive manner and took them to a new level.
The live line up (Roman Baumgartner - Drums, Harry Baumgartner - Bass und Stefan Schiemer - Lead Guitar) delivered great shows in sold out venues.
Now the second album "Blind Rumours" will be released, on which the songwriter further enhanced his vision. More pop and still more rock found its way on to the record. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Paul Weller can now be added to the list of influences. PAULS has achieved something great with this one. Come on!
