Violent, fast, groovy. Take Motorhead's attitude mix it with Sodom's killer vocals, Kreator's brilliant riffing, add to all an hardcore vein and you will have "UPON THESE ASHES". Ten songs, and not one filler. Every single track on this record is awesome and will have you banging your head furiously. Almost an hour of pounding on your rear, the band does not let up one single moment, guitars are heavy and sharpen, but not down-tuned to nothingness. Bass sound and drums are so fucking thrash metal, like never heard within last years. Featuring Tom Angelripper on vocals on "ECHOES OF WAR" song, "UPON THESE ASHES" stand as a candidate as one of the best thrash metal releases of 2010.
